Welcome to this year's International Women's Podcast Awards to celebrate the work of women in podcasting globally, both behind the mic and behind the scenes.

We are so excited that this year’s IWPA will be held at the iconic BBC Radio Theatre on Tuesday 17th June 2025! Hidden away in a historic Grade II listed building in the heart of Central London, the BBC's Radio Theatre is an intimate performance venue with grand decor. It first opened its doors in 1934, originally as a sound studio. Today, this iconic art deco setting hosts daily concerts, variety shows and comedy acts for TV and radio in front of a live audience.

We're delighted that in 2025 Amazon Music, Wondery and BBC Sounds are once again supporting the IWPA Bursary Fund, which allows us to continue to offer complimentary entry and tickets to people anywhere in the world.

This year, due to unprecedented uptake on the bursary for entries, we will have a limited number of complimentary tickets for the event in London available.

As with everything in life, there is a limit due to the costs of running an event like this, which we really hope people understand. Whilst we would love to provide them all for free, this would make the IWPAs unsustainable in future years, which is definitely not what we're aiming for.

This year there will be 60 Bursary Tickets available and once they're gone, they're gone, so don't delay! If you acquire a Bursary ticket and are no longer able to attend, then do please let us know as we always have a waiting list - we will re-allocate as required to ensure that we are able to help as many people as possible attend.

Timings

6.30pm: Guests arrive and welcome drinks

8pm- 9.10pm: Awards ceremony 

9.10pm- 10.30pm: After party drinks  

Please note registration and security checks will take place and we recommend you arrive at least by 7pm in order to minimize delays. All attendees must bring photos ID. Arrivals should be the BBC Broadcasting House, Main Reception. (Registration desk will be on the left).
